El Impacto de los Servicios Logísticos de Valor Agregado en la Cadena de Suministro Global: el Caso del Puerto de Manzanillo, México

Abstract

El incremento significativo del comercio internacional ha provocado que las organizaciones necesiten de más servicios logísticos para desarrollar sus actividades comerciales, por lo que han surgido empresas que ofrecen dichos servicios y apoyan para que las actividades se lleven a cabo de manera satisfactoria. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo conocer el impacto de los servicios logísticos de valor agregado en la cadena de suministro global, desde la perspectiva del puerto de Manzanillo, Colima, México. Se aplicó un cuestionario de 21 preguntas a una muestra de 71 agencias aduanales ubicadas en Manzanillo, divididos en los cuatro servicios logísticos analizados: almacenaje, etiquetado, empaque y embalaje y servicios forwarder. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que existe una integración de regular a alta en la escala tipo Likert propuesta. El etiquetado, el empaque y embalaje y el almacenaje son los servicios logísticos que tienen un mayor impacto en la integración, los servicios forwarder tuvo un impacto débil.
