Abstract

Las Instituciones Educación Superior (IES) públicas en nuestro paísarrastran diversos vicios que le impiden un desempeño eficiente en términos de la calidad ensu administracióny buen gobierno, el presente estudio pretende demostrar que a través deprocedimientos administrativoscomunes como es la Auditoría Administrativa las IES puedenreorientar esfuerzospara la mejora de estas Instituciones. El estudio se desarrolla a partir del estudio de caso de una IES altamente competitiva en términos académicos. Los resultados del estudio, muestran evidencia de aciertos y errores comunes que nos permiten hacer una propuesta que proporciona herramientas para quelos directivos tengan más herramientas para una más efectiva dirección.
