Las dificultades de pensar por sí mismo en las facultades de economía Patterns in Neighboring Areas: Colombia

Abstract

El presente artículo, busca enunciar una serie de problemas epistemológicos del paradigma dominante de la economía y cuestionables prácticas cotidianas en el aula, que dificultan la consolidación de un pensamiento propio en los estu-diantes. La pretensión de la economía de convertirse en la más dura de las ciencias sociales, la absolutización del método matemático, la crisis de perti-nencia, realismo y coherencia, el abuso del recurso al ceteris paribus, el uso excesivo de manuales y las tendencias mundiales de homogenización dificultan, en la práctica, en nuestras actividades cotidianas en el aula contribuir a ese proceso de construcción de alternativas de solución a los problemas concretos que enfrenta la economía, en este sen-tido, lo que se busca aquí es dinamizar el proceso de debate al interior de las facultades de economía con miras a consolidar epistemológicamente ese proceso.
