Abstract

El proceso de convergencia contable que el país viene asumiendo desde la Ley 1314 de 2009, puede representar una posibilidad de ajuste sustantivo en el proceso de formación del profesional contable en Colombia, no sólo por su alto impacto en la transformación de las normas técnicas que el futuro profesio-nal debe manejar, sino, por la posibili-dad de acercarse a la comprensión de fenómenos que como la internacionali-zación, la globalización etc., requieren de ser problematizados. Igualmente, representan la posibilidad de aumentar las miradas críticas que tanto se le recla-man al profesional contable colombiano pero que poco se ven materializadas en su proceso de formación y estructura curricular.
