Estándares Internacionales de Información Financiera: Algunos efectos en las organizaciones empresariales Patterns in Neighboring Areas: Colombia

Abstract

En este artículo, se pretende examinar el efecto de la aplicación del estándar in-ternacional de información financiera en las organizaciones empresariales de Co-lombia, a partir de la expedición de la ley 1314 de 2009, mediante el enfoque de carácter descriptivo, utilizando la técnica de análisis de fuentes documentales. En Colombia, se vislumbran algunos impac-tos de la aplicación de estándares para las grandes empresas que cotizan en los mercados de capitales en términos de la disminución de la masa patrimo-nial producto de la utilizacion del costo atribuido como su valor razonable, para las organizaciones empresariales que, por su nivel de complejidad, aplicarían los estándares de información financiera para Pymes aùn no es claro el impacto económico y social.
