Abstract

The article shows some theories of staff motivation, which can contribute to successful functioning of the firms in the New Economy. Their application allows the company to retain and stimulate qualified specialists, which is vital for its prosperity and development, because intellectual human capital is the leading strategic asset of the company and the main element of its competitive advantages.
