Abstract

The sanctions policy against Russia has been actively pursued since 2013. During this time, several large-scale packages of sanctions were introduced, which, although they could not completely destroy the Russian economy, but led to its significant weakening, one can see, for example, that the sanctions imposed showed the sensitivity of the Russian economy to oil prices, on which the economic situation in the country directly depends. Only interim results from sanctions can be summed up. The state of the economy can now be assessed as "floating", where the state is doing its best to support it by pursuing appropriate policies.
