Türkiye’de İller Arası Göçün Mekânsal Etkileri

Abstract

Göç, bölgelerin nüfus yapısını önemli ölçüde değiştiren bir olgudur. Bireylerin alışkın olduğu yaşam ortamını ve kültürel çevresini bırakarak, alışık olmadığı bölgelere göç etmesi, toplum üzerinde etkiler ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Toplum açısından değerlendirildiğinde, göçün birçok etkisi doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak sıralanabilir. Bu sebepten dolayı 19. Yüzyıldan günümüze kadar göçün sebepleri, sonuçları ve yönü hakkında birçok araştırma yapılmıştır. Türkiye ölçeğinde, iller arası göç dağılımının araştırıldığı bu çalışmada, il bazında net göç verileri ele alınarak, demografik ve iktisadi değişkenlerin etkisi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Mekânsal analiz, mekânsal bağlantılarla karakterize edilen coğrafi alan sınırları içinde daha doğru tespitlerde bulunmaktadır. Bu yüzden mekânsal gecikmeli, mekânsal hata ve mekânsal Durbin modelleri tercih edilerek, Maksimum Olabilirlik (ML) yöntemi ile tahmin edilmiştir. Mekânsal Durbin modeli uygun olarak belirlenmiştir. Modelin tahmin sonucundan elde edilen bulgulara göre; bir ilin işgücünde, nüfusunda, bebek ölüm oranında ve öğrenci sayısında meydana gelen değişimlerin, net göç üzerinde etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öğrenci sayısının ilin komşuluğundaki net göç rakamlarını da etkilediği belirlenmiştir.
