Sustainable Development, Poverty Reduction, and Infrastructure in Western China

Abstract

This article assesses a poverty-reduction project in the city of Chongqing. The goal of the case study analysis of the Chongqing Comprehensive Poverty Alleviation Project (CCPAP) was to lay a foundation of institutional design for post-management and to help local governments in project areas to implement and sustain more effective strategies for development.
