Abstract

The great psychologist and writer, Irvin Yalom, identified four fundamental human worries: death, freedom, existential isolation, and meaninglessness. The book ”Vocea de la căpătâi. Ghid practic de consiliere la patul bolnavului” [The bedside voice. Practical guide for counseling at the patient's bedside], published in 2019, by Lumen Publishing House, authored by Ligia Moise, addresses a theme that is part of the nature of existential psychology - death. Since this very passage is the only certainty of life, the existence of specialized literature, which debates this aspect from a psychological point of view, is certainly welcomed.
