Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji pentingnya hubungan usaha dalam bentuk subkontrak dalam industri tembaga di Tumang, Jawa Tengah. Perhatian khusus diberikan untuk melihat proses inovasi teknologi dan peran yang dimainkan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan subkontrak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa walaupun tingkat keuntungan yang diperoleh perusahaan subkontrak lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan perusahaan-perusahaan non-subkontrak, namun tingkat output yang dihasilkan jauh lebih besar.
