Abstract

Artikel ini mencoba melibat beberapa kebijakan yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Untuk itu, sebuab model makroekonomi dibentuk dengan tujuan melibat prospek perekonomian Indonesia dalam jangka menengab dan pelbagai kebijakan yang dibutuhkan. Model yang dibentuk pada dasarnya didasarkan atas model Mundell-Flemming. Berdasarkan' model tersebut kedua penulis membahas dua skenario bagi perekonomian Indonesia dalam jangka menengab. Skenario pertama mengasumsikan babwa pemerintab konsisten dengan kebijakan deregulasinya. Sementara skenario kedua mengasumsikan babwa pemerintah menghentikan deregulasi, terutama di sektor produksi dan perdagangan. Para penulis menemukan babwa perubahan kebijakan sebagaimana pada skenario kedua menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi pada sebagian kasus sektor, sehingga laju pertumbuhan lebib rendah ketimbang pada skenario pertama.
