An Input - Output Model for Measuring Economic Impact of Irrigation In Indonesia : An Alternative Approach Abstract : Maksud utama makalah ini adalah untuk mencoba menunjukkan suatu alternatif model evaluasi investasi irigasi dengan menggunakan Input-Output (I-O) model untuk suatu proyek irigasi yang mengairi area yang relatif luas (large irrigation command area). Efek langsung dan tidak langsung dari investasi dianalisa dan dtelusuri melalui berbagai sector atau industry menggunakan variable aggregate pendapatan dan tenaga kerja. Dampak investasi dapat dihitung melalui dampak pengganda ("direct, indirect and multiplier effect”). Model ini mempunyai kegunaan pada perencanaan pembangunan suatu daerah. Di dalam pembahasan telah ditunjukkan kelebihan pengganda dalam I-O model yang sebenarnya dapat diturunkan dari kombinasi hubungan pengganda dari Keynes dan Tiebout yakni pengganda berdasarkan ekspor. Akhirnya ditunjukkan model I-O dapat digunakan untuk menganalisa dampak investasi suatu daerah
