Abstract

Nowadays the importance of I-O table as a tool for planning at the central as well as regional level is more and more accepted in Indonesia. This is to a great extend due to the succes of the CBS to construct 7-0 table for the year of1971,1975,1980, and 1983. I-O table is not only useful for the purpose of planning, but also for structural analysis of an economy. Structural analysis using regression method based upon time series data of GDP will give a better result if supplemented by I-O analysis for some years cevered by the period of the time series data. This last analysis will provide some inside of the change in factor proportion occurring in several economic sectors.
