Tinjauan Triwulan Perekonomian Indonesia

Abstract

Perekonomian dunia sedang dalam proses suatu keadaan pemulihan yang mantap. Sementara itu sikap optimisme menyebar ke selurub negara. Di Amerika Serikat sendiri, seperti yang akan dibahas selanjutnya, perekonomian bertambah kuat melebibi perkiraan banyak para ahli. Di Kanada dan daratan Eropa tanda-tanda pemulihan ekonomi tidak terbantah lagi. Kanada yang mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi sebesar 3,0% pada tahun 1983, untuk tahun ini diharapkan meningkat menjadi 4,1%. Demikian pula dengan negara-negara industri di Eropa. Jerman Barat diharapkan berkembang dari 1,3% pada tahun 1983 menjadi 2,4% tahun ini. Sedangkan Perancis yang hanya bertumbuh dengan 0,2% pada tahun yang lalu, dalam tahun ini diharapkan bangkit menjadi 1,0%.
