International Financial Instability: a Review

Abstract

Makalah ini membahas dan membandingkan beberapa model-model ekonomi yang ada di sektor keuangan, khususnya moneter Indonesia. Model-model tersebut adalah Aghevli dan Khan (1977), Aghevli (1977), Schydlowsky (1980) dan Boediono (1979). Sesuai dengan tujuan utama analisa pembuat model, masing-masing model berbeda antara satu dengan lainnya mengenai asumsi tentang bagaimana ekonomi Indonesia bekerja, spesifikasi persamaan dan hubungan fungsional persamaan-persamaan tersebut serta sector yang dimasukkan dalam model. Namun demikian, ada dua persamaan pokok dalam model-model yang dibahas di sini, yakni: semua membahas mengenai masalah "short run" dan pada umumnya mengasumsikan bahwa tingkat pendapatan riil masyarakat adalah "given". Asumsi yang terakhir ini dapatd imakiumi mengingat keterbatasan data yang tersedia di sector tersebut
