Abstract

This article is concerned with the application of conventional microeconomic analysis to the question of the possibility of a producer cooperative to exist and survive in the context of a market economy. The coop considered here is defined as a voluntary cooperation among (small) producers, and thus it is but one of the many possible forms of cooperative.
