Abstract

The article is trying to see how does the Indonesian economy look like from the view point of input-output analysis. The input-output table of the Indonesian economy for 1969 at producer prices, to be the first of such study for the Indonesian economy, was prepared by LEKNAS-KYODAI research team, i.e., of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences in Jakarta in corporation with the Center for Southeast Asian Studies of Kyoto University in Kyoto. Japan. The final repport of the input-output study was published in 1973 (see Yukio Kaneko and Julian Luthan, The Structure of the Indonesian Economy in 1969 : Interindustrial Transaction Studies.
