Abstract

The objective of this article is to detect the characteristics of the video game companies linked to the use of different sources of financing. To this end, an unpublished database consisting of 24 video games companies created in 2016 is used. The results indicate that the main source of financing for SMEs is their own funds, and the characteristics such as companies’ seniority and the export capacity affect the use of external financing.
