Abstract

Magyarország a 2004. májusi EU-csatlakozással részesévé vált az Európai Unió és Oroszország között formálódó sokoldalú kapcsolatrendszernek. A politikai szálakon túl a gazdaságiak is egyre fontosabbá válnak. Az Európai Unió már a bővülés előtt is Oroszország legfontosabb kereskedelmi partnere volt, míg az Európai Unió számára Oroszország elsősorban kiemelt jelentőségű - és a bővüléssel még fontosabbá váló - energiaforrást jelent. A kapcsolatrendszer felértékelődése érthető módon veti fel az optimális intézményes keretek, elsősorban kereskedelmi formák keresésének kér dését. Mindebben kulcsszerep jut a várható orosz WTO-tagságnak. Az újonnan csat lakozott országok az eddigi EU-Oroszország dialógusba azonban vélhetően nem csak új lehetőségeket, hanem új problémákat is hoznak. Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) kód: F1, F2.
