Az Európa és Kelet-Ázsia közötti kereskedelem elemzése. 1955-1993-as adatok kereskedelemáramlási modellje alapján

Abstract

A rendkívül dinamikus kelet-ázsiai export nagyon egyenlőtlenül oszlott el a világ különböző importáló régiói, s ezen belül az európai régiók között. Hasonló aránytalanság jelentkezik az ellenkező irányban is: Nyugat-Európa nemcsak összehasonlíthatatlanul többet exportált a kelet-ázsiai övezetekbe, mint a két kelet-európai övezet, de kivitelének növekedése is sokkal egyenletesebb és gyorsabb volt. A kelet-ázsiai export igen gyors növekedése a nyolcvanas évek közepétől Japán esetében szinte teljes egészében a gépeknek, a másik két kelet-ázsiai régió esetében pedig nagyobbrészt a gépeknek és az egyéb iparcikkeknek köszönhető. A kereskedelemintenzitási mutatók alakulásából arra lehet következtetni, hogy a politikai kapcsolatok és azok változásai nagyon erősen hatnak a kereskedelem alakulására. Igen erős azonban a kereskedelempolitika hatása is, ennek tudható be például, hogy Nyugat-Európa és a kelet-ázsiai régiók kereskedelme többnyire a felét sem éri el annak, ami lehetőségeikből adódna. Ugyanez mondható el a közép- és kelet-európai országokról, ahol számítani lehet a kelet-ázsiai régiókkal bonyolítható forgalom gyors bővülésére.
