Abstract

A Magyar Tudományos Akadémia hálózatába tartozó közgazdász kutatók vezető szerepet játszottak az 1956 utáni reformfolyamatokban. E szereppel járt a politikai vezetés változó prioritásainak megértése és a megfelelően rugalmas stratégiai válasz kimunkálása. Ebben a játszmában részt vett a magyar közgazdászok több nemzedéke, általában a szakma nyugati nyitásának meghatározó szereplői. A játszmának és a reformfolyamat adott szakaszának végül az 1990-es rendszerváltozás vetett véget a játékosok távozása miatt és anélkül, hogy döntetlen eredményt hirdettek volna.
