Abstract

Halálának 20., születésének 110. évfordulóján emlékezünk Magyarország nagy hatású tudósára, akinek életútja éppoly sokszínű és összetett volt, mint szakmai pályafutása. Csikós-Nagy Béla Magyarország nemzetközi viszonylatban, a hidegháborús ideológiai tengely mindkét oldalán egyik legnagyobb szakmai tekintélyre szert tett, legsokoldalúbb - jogász végzettségű - közgazdásza, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia rendes tagja, a Magyar Közgazdasági Társaság örökös tiszteletbeli elnöke, a Nemzetközi Közgazdasági Társaság végrehajtó bizottságának tagja, alelnöke, az árelmélet és árpolitika vezető nemzetközi szaktekintélye volt.
