[Towards a theory of secondhand markets]

Abstract

A cikk beépíti a használtcikk, illetve a másodlagos piacokat a gazdasági modellekbe annak érdekében, hogy jobb magyarázatot kapjunk a Saytörvény érvényesülésének megszűnésére a jelenlegi viszonyok között. A kincsképzéshez hasonlóan bármely áru vagyontartási célú felhalmozása ronthatja bizonyos körülmények között a gazdaság teljesítményét, e készletek apasztása viszont stimulálhatja azt. Magyarázatot kapunk arra, hogy a keynesi gazdaságpolitika miért vesztette el mára hatékonyságát, és miért tűnik úgy, hogy a mai gazdaságok hajlamossá váltak a depresszióra.
