Concept of Sustainable Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Moldova

Abstract

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In management science concept of sustainable development is fundamental and there are several approaches to defining this term. Often, the term sustainability means the ability of the company to react to changes in the external environment and internal changes. Sustainable economic development of a society can be achieved through the support and development of small and medium enterprises. Analysis of national and international experience shows that small and medium enterprises have become an important part of the economy and plays a role in all the socio-economic developing countries.
