Abstract

If there is a phenomenon in the world today, which speed of development is almost extraordinary, is that of economic globalization. The development of this phenomenon, especially these last twenty years, has made possible that the combinations, the impacts and the economic dependence between countries and areas in different parts of the globe grow rapidly. This economic dependence between different countries is clearly manifested in every case, showing every time its positive and negative aspects. The best evidence of this phenomenon are the developments due to the global economic crisis and its impacts and implications in all countries. This phenomenon, especially the implications and consequences of the current global crisis did not spare the economies of the Euro-Mediterranean and the Western Balkan countries, not even our country, Albania.
