Abstract

While artificial intelligence continues to create digital worlds because of the ease and opportunity it offers, the idea of the Metaverseâ€"the point at which various digital worlds convergeâ€"has gained widespread attention. Since it gained popularity, the more thoroughly studied Metaverse idea and its related technologies have begun to be applied more frequently in a variety of fields, including entertainment, education, health, and the arts. There are numerous virtual worlds that have been created and are still being created that offer real-time virtual life, despite the fact that the Metaverse technologies currently in use are insufficient for the final transition. In this study, the idea of the metaverse and its history, applications, technological developments, and implications for graphic and game design are discussed.
