Abstract

The main purpose of study is a general description of the features of the ICT usage in administrative proceedings and the impact of this process on the efficiency of judicial activity. The work relies on a comparative study of international and national legislation on the possibility and methods of the implementation of ICT in the judiciary. Both theoretical and practical aspects of the process of implementation of ICT in the administration of justice in administrative matters have been investigated. The authors have found that the use of ICT in the judiciary has become an important and necessary element of effective functioning of the judiciary as a whole. The potential risks of the use of ICT in administrative proceedings have been outlined: restriction of access to justice for vulnerable groups, observance of confidentiality of digital information, restriction of procedural rights of participants in the judiciary, imperfection of legislative regulation, etc. e.
