Abstract

An AI-enabled Chatbot simulates human conversation using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML). Serving as an intermediary between users and computers, it comprehends queries and offers human-like responses. Specifically, the chatbot therapist leverages Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to alleviate mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and stress. CBT targets thinking patterns and behaviors, promoting better mental health through daily conversations. Online chat platforms, such as Flow, Wysa, Woebot, Joy, and Talkspace, provide cost-free therapeutic support, available anytime. Users often find it easier to open up in online chats than face-to-face conversations. Publicly accessible, these conversational agents fulfill a crucial role in mental health support. Recognizing the need to educate people about technological options and sustain user motivation, there is a growing demand for effective mechanisms using chatbots to disseminate information and maintain regular engagement.
