Abstract

The prototype is developed by integrating all authentication, control, and alert modules into a single embedded platform. The Raspberry Pi interfaces with a USB web camera for real-time face recognition and a fingerprint sensor for biometric verification. A keypad is used for OTP entry, while a GSM module handles secure OTP transmission to the user’s mobile number. An ADC converter and USB-to-TTL module enable proper communication between sensors and the Raspberry Pi. I2C lcd displays and led for indication. Once all security checks are validated, the motor driver triggers a DC motor to simulate locker operation. A buzzer is programmed to activate during unauthorized access attempts. The entire setup is powered using a stable power supply and 12V adapter, with connectors ensuring secure hardware integration. The completed prototype demonstrates a robust, multi-factor authentication-based bank locker security system.
