The Pervasive Impact of Software Engineering and Architecture: A Multi-Industry Analysis

Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the ubiquitous role of software engineering and architecture across diverse industries in the modern digital landscape. Through a combination of literature review, industry case studies, and expert interviews, we examine how core software engineering principles—such as scalability, security, user experience, and data management—are applied and adapted in sectors ranging from e-commerce and fintech to healthcare, transportation, media, manufacturing, and government services.
