Abstract

La presente investigación trata de hacer un balance de la economía mexicana antes y después de la entrada en vigor del Tratado de Libre Comercio de América del Norte (TLCAN). El objetivo es presentar cómo los consejos de los organismos internacionales y el mismo gobierno de Estados Unidos, han influenciado durante 32 años a los gobiernos mexicanos desde Miguel de la Madrid hasta el actual Enrique Peña Nieto en la adaptación del modelo neoliberal a la economía mexicana con las famosas reformas estructurales. Una de las más importantes ha sido la política comercial que ha provocado una mayor dependencia del sector externo. La hipótesis de este trabajo son los diversos tratados de comercio internacional y en especial el TLCAN que han desmantelado la economía nacional. / This research makes an analysis of the Mexican economy before and after the entry into force of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The aim is to present how the advice of international organizations and the same US government, have influenced, for 32 years the Mexican governments since Miguel de la Madrid to the current Enrique Peña Nieto in the adaptation of the neoliberal model to the Mexican economy with the famous structural reforms. One of the most important has been the trade policy, which has led to increased dependence on external sector. The hypothesis of this paper is: the various international trade agreements and especially NAFTA have dismantled the national economy.
