Abstract

El presente trabajo va dirigido fundamentalmente a profesores de matemáticas de nivel superior, el objetivo del mismo es exponer algunas ideas acerca de la construcción del número real y las categorías del infinito. No es posible comprender a cabalidad los conceptos de límite, continuidad, derivada, integral sin tener una plena comprensión del concepto de números reales. Se destacan tres maneras diferentes aunque muy parecidas de definir el número irracional/ This work is aimed primarily at teachers of mathematics higher level, the objective is to present some ideas about the construction of the actual number and categories of infinity.
