Una propuesta para determinar el índice de desarrollo humano mejorado para estados de la República Mexicana

El siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo exponer una metodología para el cálculo del idh (Índice de Desarrollo Humano) de los estados que forman la República mexicana. A diferencia del procedimiento utilizado por el pnud (Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo) que considera el idh como promedio de las tres variables que conforman este indicador (esperanza de vida al nacer, tasa de alfabetización y producto interno bruto per cápita) en nuestra proposición sugerimos considerar una media ponderada de estas variables obteniendo dichas ponderaciones de los resultados derivados del modelo econométrico aplicado. Con este procedimiento que sugerimos, obtenemos un reordenamiento por estados y regiones de la República mexicana respecto a su nivel de desarrollo, el cual difiere del obtenido por la metodología utilizada por el pnud./ The following work has as objective to expose a methodology for the calculus of the idh (Index of Human Development) of the states that form the Mexican Republic. Contrary to the procedure used by the undp (United Nations Development Programme) that considers the idh like an average of the three variables that conform this indicator (hope of life when being born, literacy rate and gross domestic product per capita) in our proposition we suggest to consider a pondered mean of these variables obtaining these considerations of the derivative results of the applied econometric pattern. With this procedure that we suggest we obtain a rearrangement for states and regions of the the Mexican Republic regarding their development level which differs of the one obtained by the methodology used by the UNDP.
