Análisis estratégico del mercado mexicano con tratado de libre comercio

Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza un análisis del mercado mexicano desde el punto de vista estratégico bajo las condiciones de integración que impone el tlcan; para lo cual se demuestra de forma analítica la presencia del poder de mercado, empleando la información proveniente de 132 sectores industriales o de servicios que agrupan 1 572 empresas en el periodo entre 1994 y 1999. Los resultados obtenidos sirven para demostrar el verdadero carácter que tiene la integración del corte del tlcan, ya que la existencia del poder de mercado en manos de las grandes empresas transnacionales conlleva a una disminución del bienestar social a través de la reducción del excedente del consumidor./ In this work it is carried out an analysis of the Mexican market from the strategic point of view under the integration conditions that the nafta imposes; it is demonstrated in an analytic way the presence of market power, using the information coming from 132 industrial sectors or of services that contain 1 572 companies in the period between 1994 and 1999. The obtained results are good to demonstrate the true character that has the integration of the cut of the nafta, since the existence of the market power in hands de the big transnational companies it bears to a decrease of the social welfare through the reduction of the consumer’s surplus
