Abstract

This is a condensed version of the paper presented to the session on Accomplishments of Industrial Operations Research at the Washington meeting of the S ociety on November 19, 1954. Operations Research , ISSN 0030-364X, was published as Journal of the Operations Research Society of America from 1952 to 1955 under ISSN 0096-3984.
