Some Applications of the Theory of Dynamic Programming---A Review

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide an expository account of the theory of dynamic programming. To illustrate the general principles, two particular problems, one of deterministic type and one of stochastic type, are treated. Operations Research , ISSN 0030-364X, was published as Journal of the Operations Research Society of America from 1952 to 1955 under ISSN 0096-3984.
