Operations Analysis in the United States Air Force

Abstract

Examples of operations analysis done for the United States Air Force are given, together with the author's conclusions as to conditions necessary for successful operations analysis, and an approach to a definition of the term. Operations Research , ISSN 0030-364X, was published as Journal of the Operations Research Society of America from 1952 to 1955 under ISSN 0096-3984.
