Abstract

We develop an application of linear programming to the problem of the distribution of a certain investment which is restricted to a fixed amount among the various productive processes or departments of an enterprise, so as to obtain a maximum profit improvement. "Management Technology", ISSN 0542-4917, was published as a separate journal from 1960 to 1964. In 1965 it was merged into Management Science.
