Abstract

The Turner Broadcasting application earned special recognition and inspired special publication treatment. This 2017 Wagner Prize finalist also became an Edelman Award finalist in the 2018 Edelman competition immediately following the Wagner competition. Therefore, it is being honored with special publication treatment in which the work will be presented in a combined Wagner–Edelman paper. Furthermore, as another special distinction, the application was the winner of the 2017 Innovative Applications in Analytics Award. Unlike the Edelman and Wagner competitions, the latter award competition is not explicitly associated with a finalist publication in Interfaces .
