The Fifth Column---On Columnists and Other Good People

Abstract

You may have noticed an omission in this issue of Interfaces , if you are an omission-noticer; no columns except the BOOK REVIEWS. With the bimonthly format, we will be including columns primarily in the February, June, and October issues. There have been several changes in personnel as well; with the retirement of Raj Nigam as Practice Editor, the PRACTICE column also retired. Julio Bucatinsky has relinquished the MANAGEMENT SCIENCE ROUNDUP column, for which Dave Alberts contributed “News and Reports” and Jim Morgan prepared the “Seen Elsewhere.” Jim Morgan will continue with SEEN ELSEWHERE as a separate column, and Eraser Dunford joins us as editor of MANAGEMENT SCIENCE ROUNDUP, which is actively soliciting news and reports from correspondents, old and new, around the globe. Thanks and farewell to the departees; welcome aboard to the newcomers.
