Abstract

The increasing demand for automation and contactless systems in educational and corporate environments has accelerated the need for intelligent attendance solutions. This research paper presents an AI-based face recognition attendance system designed to automate and secure attendance management. Using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and FaceNet embeddings, the system achieves high accuracy in identifying individuals under varying lighting and environmental conditions. The system integrates a Flask-based backend, a web-based frontend, and a MySQL database for seamless real-time performance. The implementation demonstrates 97.8% accuracy, showcasing the potential of AI and computer vision in modernizing administrative operations.
