Abstract

Verimli Piyasalar Hipotezi yatırımcıların rasyonel olduğu varsayımına dayanmaktadır. Buna bağlı olarak da yatırımcıların nasıl davranması gerektiğini belirleme çabasındadır. Ne var ki gerçek hayatta yatırımcılar Verimli Piyasalar Hipotezinin önerdiğinden çok farklı davranmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada, yatırımcıları rasyonel kabul edip nasıl davranmaları gerektiğini değil de gürültücü olduklarını kabul edip nasıl davrandıklarını tespit etmeye çalışan hipotezler ele alınmaktadır. Bu hipotezlerin sadece kuramcılar arasında tartışılıyor olmasının sakıncalarına ve üniversitelerdeki finans derslerinin içinde yer almasının önemine işaret edilmekte ve ayrıca konunun öneminin anlaşılabilmesi için pratisyenlere büyük görevler düştüğü belirtilmektedir.
