İzmir’de tiyatroya katılım üzerine ekonometrik bir analiz

Abstract

Bu çalışmada tiyatroya gelen izleyicinin profili ve tiyatro talebini etkileyen faktörler araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca yine bu araştırma, alanında yapılan ilk çalışmalardan biri olması nedeniyle ve yapılacak daha kapsamlı araştırmalara ışık tutabilmesi amacıyla sadece İzmir ilindeki devlet tiyatrolarına yönelik olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında, tiyatrolara oyun izlemek için gelen izleyicilerin demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik profilini, gelme sıklıklarını ve gelememe nedenlerini belirleyen faktörleri ortaya çıkarmak için bir anket formu hazırlanarak çoğaltılmıştır. Seyircilerin tiyatro talebinin şiddeti, sıralanmış logit regresyonuyla analiz edilmiştir. Opera, Bale, Klasik Müzik ve Sinemaya katılımın, tiyatro katılımını arttırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu anlamda bu tür faaliyet ve hizmetler tiyatro için tamamlayıcı mal niteliği göstermektedir. Seyircilerin tiyatroya olan fiziki uzaklıkları taleplerini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir
