Ekonomik Büyümenin Sağlanmasında Finansal Sistemin Rolü

Abstract

Son zamanlarda ekonominin en önemli tartışmalarından birisi finansal gelişmenin mi ekonomik büyümeyi yoksa ekonomik büyümenin mi finansal gelişmeyi etkilediği tartışmasıdır. Bir çok teorik ve ampirik çalışma finansal sistemin ekonomik büyüme için sürükleyici sektör olduğu görüşünü destekleyici sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Finansal gelişme seviyesinin geçerli ve gelecekteki büyüme oranlarının tahmininde iyi bir araç olduğuna dair kanıtlar bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmada teorik ve ampirik literatürde finansal gelişme ve ekonomik büyüme ilişkisi ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca finansal gelişmenin ekonomik büyümeye nasıl etki yaptığı da incelenmektedir.
