Türkiye''de Kamu Ve Özel Sektör İmalat Sanayi Fiyatları Arasındaki Nedensellik İlişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada iki amaç hedeflenmektedir. Bunlardan birincisi, karma ekonomik sistemde kamu ve özel sektör fiyatlandırma davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin teorik olarak değerlendirilmesidir. Diğeri ise, Türkiye’de kamu ve özel kesim imalat sanayi fiyat artışları arasındaki muhtemel ilişkinin 1987:1-1998:7 dönemi için Granger nedensellik analiziyle test edilmesidir. Nedensellik testi sonuçlarına göre, 39 alt sektörün 28’inde bir nedensellik ilişkisi belirlenmiştir. Nedenselliğin yönü özel kesim fiyat artışlarından kamu kesimi fiyat artışlarına olan sektörlerde (3822 hariç) oligopolistik piyasa yapısı gözlenmemektedir. Rekabet arttıkça kamu kesimi fiyat davranışları özel kesimin fiyatlandırma davranışlarına daha duyarlı bir hale gelmektedir. Basit regresyon analizinden elde edilen bulgular bu savımızı destekler niteliktedir.
