Abstract

Bu makalede Türkiye sağlık harcamaları 2001-2003 dönemi için kamu sağlık harcamaları etrafında incelenmiştir. Türkiye’nin sosyal harcamaları GSMH’nın %8’ler civarında dalgalanmalar göstermektedir. Toplam eğitim ve sağlık harcamalarının GSMH’dan almış olduğu pay her biri için %3,5 civarındadır. Bu oranlar Avrupa ülkeleri ile karşılaştırıldığında göreceli olarak oldukça düşüktür. Kamu sağlık harcamaları ve sağlık hizmetlerinin dağılımında önemli eşitsizlikler vardır.
