Yolsuzlukların Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımlar (Dyy) Üzerine Etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, yolsuzlukların doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar üzerindeki etkilerini 58 ülke için 1995-2001 dönemi açısından ele almaktadır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, yolsuzluklar doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar üzerinde olumsuz bir etkiye sahiptir. Elde edilen bulgular, yolsuzlukların vergi yükünü ve rasyonel olmayan sermaye kontrollerini azaltarak doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar üzerinde olumlu etkilere sahip olduğunu ileri süren “etkin yağ hipotezini” desteklememektedir.
