Türkiye''de Kamunun Aydınlatılmasına Yönelik Finansal Bilgilerin Elektronik Ortamda Yayınlanması

Abstract

Günümüzde, teknolojik gelişmelerin bir sonucu olarak, işletmelerin finansal raporlarının yatırımcılara ve diğer ilgililere sunumunda internetin bir araç olarak kullanılması hızla artmaktadır. Bir çok ülkede yapılan araştırmalara göre, işletmelerin finansal bilgilerinin ve performanslarının web sitelerinde yayınlanması yoğun bir şekilde benimsenmiştir. Türkiye’ye yönelik yapılan bu çalışmada ise, 2002 yılı sonunda ISO’nun belirlediği ilk 500 sanayi işletmesinin finansal ve diğer bilgilerinin kamuya açıklanmasında web sitelerinin kullanımı araştırılmaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda, internette yayınlanan finansal raporlamanın işletmeler arasında gerek kapsam gerekse biçim olarak önemli ölçüde farklılıklar gösterdiği ve gelişmiş ülkelere göre Türkiye’nin bu konuda alması gereken daha uzun bir yol olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
