Abstract

Bu çalışma ülkemizde yaşanan Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizleri’ nden bankacılık sektöründe çalışanların motivasyonlarının ne düzeyde etkilendiğini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Kriz belirsizlik ortamı yaratması, şubelerin kapanması ve çalışanların işten çıkarılması şeklinde gerçekleşmiştir.Beşeri bir faktör olan insan kaynaklarının bu gerçeklere duyarsız kalmaları mümkün değildir.İşte bu çalışmayla krizin neden olduğu unsurların banka personelinin iş motivasyonunu ne derecede etkilediği araştırmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda çalışanların motivasyonunu etkileyen en önemli faktörün “işten çıkarılma” korkusu olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Banka yöneticilerinin kararlarında bu sonucu dikkate almaları gerekmektedir.
